Newport 10/17/01 On Wednesday, October 17, 2001, Naval Undersea Warfare Center Newport Division (NUWC) is hosting an ON-SITE Technology Expo that will take place from 10:00 a.m. -- 2:00 p.m. This expo will be advertised to all NUWC personnel, including 3500 civilian employees, 70 officers and enlisted personnel, and the Newport Naval War College. Newport is the Navy's principal research, development, test, and evaluation center for submarine weapons systems, and surface ship sonar systems. High-level staff that have international reputations in their fields of expertise are located here. Requested technologies for this event include, but are not limited to: Graphics, Internet Technologies, Security Applications, Ruggedized Hardware, Laptops, Printers, Environmental, Financial, Engineering, Video Support, and general Information Technology.
