Description

Provide Initial Evaluation Services throughout Washington State to individuals referred by VA Regional Office. Contractors will use established counseling and assessment techniques to gather information necessary to allow VA staff to make determinations regarding entitlement to assistance and rehabilitation planning under Chapter 31. Offerors must be geographically located within Washington State. A sufficient number of contract awards will be made to assure coverage of major population areas within Washington State. Solicitation is 100% set aside for small business concerns. NAICS Code is 624310 for this solicitation. This solicitation will be available for download at no charge on or about June 25, 2001, via the VA Business Opportunities System web site at http://www.va.gov/oa&mm/busopp/sols.htm. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(7), solicitation dissemination is limited to electronic medium, and no hard copies will be provided by VA. Any amendments will be posted at the web site. Offerors are advised they are responsible for obtaining all bid documents and amendments. A pre-proposal conference is scheduled on July 10, 2001 at 8 am at the Old Federal Building, Room 90B, First Avenue, in Seattle, WA. All offerors are encouraged to attend.
