Description

This project consists of the services of a backhoe, dump truck and equipment trailer to perform miscellaneous road maintenance work including removal of road slumps and slides, installation of road closure devices, pit barriers and waterbars, ditch and culvert inlet/outlet cleaning and other minor road maintenance work. This project is located on Zarembo Island, Southeast Alaska and accessed by tug and barge from Wrangell, Alaska. Estimated price range is $25,000 to $100,000. Simplified acquisition procedures apply to this aquisition. The solicitation will be posted for viewing and printing to the Tongass National Forest homepage at http://www.fs.fed.us/r10/tongass on or about July 3, 2001. Alternatively, a paper copy of the solicitation may be requested via FAX at 907.228.6254. FAX requests should reference solicitation no. KTN-01-37.
