Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 13.202, Simplified Acquisition Methods, Purchase Orders. This announcement constitutes the solicitation, quotation is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Submit only written quotations for RFQ F23606-01-Q-0008. All specific requirements of the equipment must be met as they appear in this notice. This procurement is set-aside = for small business. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-21. The NAICS code 339994 Brush (Brush Head for Street Cleaner Vehicle, repair/replacement parts) applies to this solicitation. The size standard is 500 employees. The item description is as follows: Two (2) each, Brush Heads, 16 foot wide by 46 inches to mount on an Oshkosh HB/MPU chassis (for existing equipment). Must have quick hitch to attach brush head to the chassis. Hoses and quick couplers to run from the trucks quick couplers to the broom, additional check valve for broom list with instruction sheet "To be Installed by Customer", Operators Manual / Parts Lists. MPU needs to take a wafer style brush with a 19 1/2 inch ID, 46" outside diameter brush, poly/steal combo. NOT cartridge style inserts, they are unacceptable. Must have four independent load bearing caster wheels with high speed tires. Quote must include shipping and handling fees to destination, Whiteman AFB, MO 65305.
