Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number N00164-01-Q-0235 is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The proposed contract is not set-aside for small business concerns. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-25 and DCN 20001213. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 54119. This is a sole source to Multigen-Paradigm, Inc., 550 S Winchester Blvd., Suite 500, San Jose, CA 95128-2544. The requirement is for the following: CLIN 0001 P/N: MGCRE-MOD-FLT-PC Creator for Windows Executable code and documentation for MultiGen Creator software. Provides tools for the creation of 3D textured models suitable for real time environments. Also includes support service. CLIN 0002 P/N: VG-DEV-MP-NT -Vega License (a single license to run a Vega and Audioworks II application in multi-process or single process modes. Execution license only. CLIN 0003 P/N: GV-MARINE-NT Vega Marine Effects, optional software module for VG-DEV to support specialized need of marine/nautical applications. This module includes VG-SPEC-NT. Delivery is required F.O.B. Crane, IN 47522 within 15 days after award. Delivery date is critical. Final inspection will be at NSWC Crane, IN. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. This will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government.
