Description

Provide Architect/Engineer services for renovation of the Nurses Home Care Unit II North at the VA Medical Center at VA Medical Center, Manchester, NH. The new design includes the renovation of one wing of the NHCU Building, as well as renovations to both NHCU nurses stations, congregate baths, OT/PT area and cosmetic renovations to the 3rd Floor of Building #1. Renovations will include Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing. The A/E shall be responsible for investigating, designing and specifying new emergency power system to include but not be limited to, a self-contained generating system, transfer equipment, and distribution equipment. He shall also be responsible for the extension of the Medical Center's existing Medical Gas Systems into the renovated area. This will include but is not limited to a study of the existing system capacities, calculations of needed capacity and pipe size to the NHCU renovations. The NAICS Number for this solicitation of Sources Sought is 54131/3. The estimated construction cost range is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. This is not a request for proposals, only SF 254's and SF 255's are required to be submitted.
