- NIH has a requirement for patent legal services. These contracts will be for a period of one year, commencing 12/14/01, with options for four additional years. NIH anticipates making multiple awards to between six (6) and nine (9) firms. Interested firms with strong corporate and individual experience in medical/scientific research patents are encouraged to make a written request for the RFP to the Contracting Officer listed above (faxes accepted).
