Description

The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and service required to perform all concrete pavement maintenance and restoration items included in bidding documents when defined in specific task orders; including slurry seal, random slab repair, concrete pavement construction, joint seal installation, and underground conduit work as specified at Tyndall AFB, Fl. This requirement is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) using FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The Government anticipates award of a firm fixed price contract with a performance period of a base year, and two option years. Source selection for this Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity, IDIQ, contract will be conducted using Performance Price Tradeoff evaluations. This solicitation is set for = Full and Open, Unrestrictive, competition under FAR 19.1006. The SIC/NAIC codes are 1611/ 23411. Solicitation/statement of work will be available from the Electronic Posting System on 18 June 01. Contractors must comply with DFARS 252-.204-7304, Central Contractor Registration. Contractors can access information on referenced clauses at http://farsite.hill.af.mil. The closing date established for receipt of proposals is 4:00 p.m. 18 July 01 as instructed in the RFP. A tentative Award date is scheduled for 1 August 01. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be = considered by the agency.
