Description

Provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision necessary to construct Patient Privacy Ward on the 17th floor North wing at the VA Medical Center, 423 E. 23rd Street, New York, NY 10010 all in accordance with specifications and drawings. Work includes demolition, general construction, asbestos removal, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, architectural interior finishes, mechanical and structural, etc. Proposal evaluation factors are as follows: Past Experience 40%, Technical Approach 30%, Price 30%. Contractors are advised to submit a detailed proposal that includes a clear indication of any government contract experience and experience working in active occupied medical facilities. Proposal must include full description of the contractor's technical approach and management plan and at least 5 references. A site visit is highly recommended. Estimated construction cost range is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. Construction period is 450 calendar days and 75 calendar days for drawings/submittals. NAICS Code is 23541.
