Description

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N00181-01-Q-0440 applies. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-25. NAICS 333923 with a small business size of 500 employees. This requirement is for is for a fixed price contract for the following line item: CLIN 0001 Chair, Crane Quantity (20) each. Specifications: Ergonomic design, full body contoured seat; Full steel seat and back rest pans, powder coated; Independent back rest and seat height adjustments 2.4" in 3 increments; 8" fore and aft adjustment range with ball bearing slides; Full spring-dampened suspension system; Dial-in weight compensation adjustment 110-280 lb; Field replacement cushions; Standard black nylon velour upholstery; 80 degree increments adjustable back rest for reclining; Seat cushion tilt adjustment 3-11 degrees to reduce high pressure; Seat cushion depth adjustment forward 2.4" in 4 increments to accommodae larger operators; Adjustable lumbar support. Includes: Head rest, Long adjustable flip up armrest, Open riser 7" and Floor Slide with 24" travel single lock right hand 7" riser. Or Equal. Descriptive literature to be provided with quote. Delivery shall be on or before 07 September 2001. FOB destination, NNSY, Portsmouth, VA 23709. Inspection/acceptance at destination. FAR 52.212-1, 52.212-2, 52-212-3, 52.212-4, 52.212-5 (1) (5), (11), (12), (13), (14), (15), (16), (17) and (22) apply. DFAR 252.212.7001 and DFAR 252.204-7004 "REQUIRED CENTRAL REGISTRATION" apply to this acquisition. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror/quoter INELIGIBLE FOR AWARD. Info can be obtained through internet at http://ccr2000.com. Offeror shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3. Offer Representation and Certification-Commercial Items. Offer shall be evaluated for fair and reasonable price, technical acceptability, adherence to applicable clauses, provisions, and satisfactory past performance. The Navy's contractor evaluation system, Red/Yellow/Green Program will apply in the evaluation process. Parties responding to this solicitation may submit their quote in accordance with their standard commercial practices (e.g. company letterhead, formal quote form, etc) but must include the following: 1) complete mailing/remittance address; 2) prompt payment discount; 3) anticipated delivery; 4) Taxpayer Identification Number; 5) All completed certifications as required as required herein.
