Description

Contractor shall furnish, install and perform in full compliance with the plans and specs all work related to the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center project #693-00-101. Work shall include but not be limited to the following: Removal/demolition of existing finishes, (wainscot, handrails, cove base, ceiling tiles, etc.) and installation of new finishes (painting, wallpaper, floor tiles, ceiling tiles, wainscot, handrails, etc.) Work also involves installation of new modular nursing stations, cable TV support brackets and cabling, over-bed light fixtures and receptacles. NAICS code for this project is 233320 $27.5M. Bid packages will be available o/a 7/6/01. Estimated construction cost is $250,000 -- $500,000, Subject to Availability of Funds. All requests for bid packages must be in writing on company letterhead and accompanied by a $35.00 non-refundable charge in the form of a check or money order payable to the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Pre-bid conference and site visit will be held @ 10am on July 19th. in Room C6-1 Main Building. All potential contractors/subs/suppliers are urged to attend.
