Description

Service: Furnish all tools, labor, parts and materials required to inspect, clean, test and adjust a complete electrical system at the VA Medical Center, Bath, New York. Testing and maintenance shall include: switch gear equipment, medium voltage circuit breakers, protective relays, primary disconnects, transformers, low voltage circuit breakers and generators. Inspection of transformers shall include infrared thermography to detect heat damage and test for harmonics. Prospective bidders shall confirm in writing that they have been engaged in such practices for a minimum of three (3) years of specialized continuous experience with verification in writing prior to issuance of bid package. This Solicitation is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 811310 and size standard of $5 million is applicable. Contemplated issued date is 6/28/01 with an approximate opening date of 7/24/01.
