Description

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Syntek Technologies, Inc. to study defense bandwidth needs through the first half of the twenty-first century (based on technology "in the pipeline" and strategic trends in defense) against the availability of bandwidth for defense needs (derived from existing programs to upgrade bandwidth for defense operations and the projected progress of technology). The projected period of performance is eight weeks and the projected cost is $35,000. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Contractors capable of offering their service must respond within 15 days of the date of this notice by submitting specific technical capability to provide this service. All responses received within 15 days after publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
