Environmental Technologies Industries of the Department of Commerce to Showcase U.S. companies at Enviro-Pro Expo/TECOMEX 2001 trade show in Mexico City, Mexico, September 25-28, 2001. For only $360, the U.S. Department of Commerce will represent U.S. companies at their Product Literature Center at Enviro-Pro Expo/TECOMEX 2001 in Mexico City, Mexico from September 25-28, 2001. This unique, value-added catalogue showcase is being organized by Environmental Technologies Industries, the U.S. Government's foremost supporter of the U.S. environmental technologies industry internationally. Enviro-Pro Expo/TECOMEX 2001 is Mexico's largest global environmental conference and exhibition. It is the only event that covers the entire environmental industry, including air pollution, water, and solid and hazardous waste. Enviro-Pro Expo/TECOMEX 2001 is expecting over 5,000 highly qualified attendees seeking services and technologies to meet their environmental needs. 67% of last year's attendees planned to purchase products exhibited within 12 months and 74% of last year's attendees were directly involved in the purchasing decisions for the products and services that were exhibited. The catalogue showcase will be managed by experienced Environmental Technologies Specialists from the Department's Washington headquarters, to ensure that products are well-represented and that the leads are secured and provided to companies quickly for follow-up and future sales. Companies will need to forward sets of catalogue literature, which will be used by the Specialists at the U.S. Pavilion at Enviro-Pro Expo/TECOMEX 2001 and distributed to interested parties.
