16 -- *Synopsis# GT01002 -- on all Government correspondence, include the Office Symbol: AMSAM-AC-SA-F. This proposed acquistion is for thirty-three (33) UH-60L protective armor systems for the Columbian Government. Authority Cited: Statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition for this requirement is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implementd by paragraphs 6.302-1 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) entitled "Only one responsible source or only a llimited number of responsible sources and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." This acquisition will be a letter contract issued sole source to Protective Materials Company, A division of the Protective Group, Inc., 14040 N.W. 58th Street, Miami Lakes, Florida 33014. When calling be prepared to state name, address and solicitation number. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. See Numbered Note(s) 22.
