Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number N00164-01-Q-0242 is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-26 and DCN 20001213. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 335931 and the size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is for the following: CLIN 0001 -450 each Backshell P/N M28840/826WA, 0002- 150 each Backshell P/N M28840/807WA NSN 5935-01-432-9751, 0003 -- 260 each Backshell P/N M85049/9-4W NSN 5935-01-159-5803, 0004 -- 50 each Backshell P/N M85049/9-6W NSN 5935-01-237-8327, 0005 -- 40 each Backshell P/N M85049/9-49W NSN 5935-01-170-5817. Delivery is required F.O.B. Destination at Crane, IN 47522 with delivery 120 days ARO. Multiple offers are encouraged and award may be made to multiple venders. Acceptance is at Destination. Selection for award will be based on past performance and price. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. This will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. The offeror shall provide its Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code, Contractor Establishment Code and Tax Identification Number. To be eligible for award you must be properly registered in the Government's Central Contractor Registration (CCR). If a change occurs in this requirement, only those offerors that respond to this announcement within the required time frame will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
