Description
The Government intends to establish contractual services for repair of Circuit Card Assembly. This system is part of the Defense Support Program (DSP) and a requirement in support of AN/MSQ-118. The contractor shall furnish all facilities, parts, materials, data, equipment and services that are required to disassemble, inspect, repair as necessary, upgrade to modern parts, reassemble clean and package. The contractor shall perform this work using the best commercial practices. The Work Description Document (WDD) establishes the minimum work requirements to return the end item(s) to a serviceable and funtionally, like new condition. To include all required reports and data. The Items listed will be shipped to the contractor for repair: Circuit Card Assembly, NSN 5998-01-303-4373IB, P/N 021-112425-01, Qty 2 Each. Delivery will be 60 days ARO or ARR whichever is later. The approximate issue/response date will be 11 JUL 2001. The anticipated award date will be 31 JUL 2001. Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. See our Web page. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor, concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
