Description

The Social Security Administration has a requirement for preventive and remedial maintenance of the parallel redundant 338 KVA static type Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) System complete with associated batteries, water cooled load bank and peripherals. Maintenance shall be performed at the Social Security Administration (SSA), Southeastern Program Service Center, 2001-12th Avenue North, Birmingham, Alabama. The contractor shall provide all necessary maintenance labor, documentation, repair parts, maintenance supplies, tools, testing equipment, transportation and other related services to maintain the equipment in excellent operating condition. The period of performance will be October 1, 2001 through September 30, 2002, with provisions for four 1-year renewable option periods. The solicitation number is RFQ 01-7604-08, and is scheduled for release on or about July 9, 2001, with quotations due approximately 30 days later. This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. Quotations received from other than small business concerns will be deemed unacceptable and will be given no further consideration. No telephone requests will be accepted.
