- Description
- H -- The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has a requirement for Appraisal Quality Assessment (AQA) Services throughout the United States and its territories. Duties of the contractor shall include high quality expedited exterior and interior reviews of appraised properties. It is anticipated that four contracts will be awarded under this solicitation regionally aligned by Home Ownership Center (HOC) jurisdictions (Atlanta HOC, Denver HOC, Philadelphia HOC and Santa Ana HOC that covers Guam, Puerto Rica and the U.S. Virgin Islands). A minimum of one (1) award will be made to a small business concern to provide maximum practical opportunities for small and small disadvantaged business concerns. Contractors will be expected to use a state of the art automatic processing system to perform workload and electronic reporting submission as well as invoice processing. The Department anticipates that the period of performance of the Indefinite-Quantity Indefinite-Delivery contracts will be for a one (1) year base period with two (2) twelve month option periods. Accordingly, technical/management considerations, including past performance will be more important than cost/price. The SIC code is 8742 and the size standard is $5 million. The NAICS code is 531390. The RFP will be available on August 25, 2001. A pre-proposal conference will be held approximately 10 days after issuance of the RFP. Proposals will be due approximately 45 days after issuance of the solicitation. All parties interested should submit a written request for the RFP to Avery D. Becton, U.S. Department of HUD, 451 Seventh Street, SW, Room 5266, Washington, DC 20410 or a facsimile request to (202) 708-2933. Telephone requests will not be accepted. HUD posts all required notices of its contracting opportunities on its Internet Home Page Contracting Opportunities site at http://www.hud.gov/cts/ctsoprty.html. Potential offerors who download copies of solicitations from HUD's Home Page will NOT automatically receive any amendments to those solicitations. You are advised to check back frequently to see if HUD has issued any amendments to solicitations you have obtained. All amendments will be posted on, and may be downloaded from, HUD's Home Page Contracting Opportunities site.
