Description

Privatization is a process by which the Government sells its resources to a private entity for the electrical distribution system. The BGAD effort will involve the purchase, ownership, maintenance and operation of the electrical distribution system as a commercial electrical utility system. All prospective offerors must be able to provide documentation that they can own and operate an electrical distribution system within the State of Kentucky. OSC will hold a site visit at Blue Grass Army Depot approximately 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. Further information will be provided with the solicitation. This requirement will not be combined with any other utility system or installation. This requirement is unrestricted. The NAICS code is 221122, with size standard of 4 mil megawatt hours.
