Description

The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) intends to award a sole source contract to Universal Power Systems Inc., 4230 Lafayette Center Drive Suite G, Chantilly, VA, 20151. DISA has a requirement for six 6kVA uninterruptible power supplies (UPS). The devices are rack mount, on-line, 208-240 VAC, 50/60Hz input; 120 VAC, 50/50Hz output. Full 6kVA output at 120VAC; Input and output terminal blocks; Automatic bypass. User-programmable interface; Complete unit consists of 10.5 inch tall Electronics chassis and 5.25 inch tall Battery chassis; Compatible with OnliNet Software and ConnectUPS Network Adapters. Each device includes a high impact, double-ended transit case with slide rails for the Battery and Electronics chassis. This synopsis is a notice of intent to issue an award under other than full and open competition and should not be considered a request for competitive proposals. The determination of the Government not to open subject requirement to full and open competition was made IAW FAR 6.302-1 and 10 USC 2302 (c) (1) and is solely at the discretion of the Government.
