Description

This synopsis is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested electronically and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Proposal (RFP) number is DAAE07-01-R-L505. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46, dated 17 Mar 97. The associated North American Industrial Code System (NAICS) code is 233. The U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) is soliciting offers under this Request for Proposal, DAAE07-01-R-Q505 for a General Contractor, Best Value Construction Services, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity, Task Order Contract (TOC), with Design-Build capability. The government intends to award to a maximum of 3 individual TOC contracts, two unrestricted and one 8(a) set aside. The total minimum amount for the individual task order contracts shall be $100,000 to any one contractor. Total contract period to include base year with the option to extend services not to exceed five years. Prospective Offerors must submit a proposal for the Prototypical projects that will be used to evaluate the contractor's price proposal and portions of the technical proposal and past performance. These projects are a representative of the type of projects that may be offered and constructed under the IDIQ TOC. This acquisition is rated D04. Offers are due no later than 12:00 noon, 08 AUG 01. Only electronic submissions will be accepted. Contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) before an award can be made, see website: www.ccr2000.com to register.
