Description

Provide all supervision, plant, labor, equipment, materials and appliances necessary to perform all operations in connection with the removing, repair, replacement and/or construction of chain-link fencing in and around Fort Drum's Cantonment Area and Army Family Housing areas, and in the off-post LeRay Army Community Housing area located adjacent to the Installation, in strict accordance with the Statement of Work, specifications, and drawings and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. Fencing materials includes fence fabric, poles, gates and related items. The contract type shall be "Firm Fixed Price Requirements Construction". The contract duration will be a base year plus two one-year options. This procurement is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000 annually. A small business size standard of $11,500,000 and North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 235990 applies. This will be an unrestricted procurement issued under the authority of FAR Subpart 19.1006 (b)(1), Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered. The solicitation will be available for downloading from Fort Drum's web page. No copies will be mailed out and no bidder's mailing list will be maintained. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about July 27, 2001 and that the DUE DATE for receipt of offers will be approximately 30 days thereafter. Bids must be supplied in hard copy form to Fort Drum's Directorate of Contracting by the date and time specified within the solicitation. No electronic bids will be accepted. Failure to respond to any amendments to the solicitation may render the bid to be considered as non-responsive and thereby rejected, so the web page should be monitored for any/all amendments.
