Description

The Defense Distribution Depot Norfolk (DDNV), Norfolk, VA has a requirement for Concrete Floor Preparation Work in th e Forklift Battery Charging Areas located throughout various warehouses at the installation. Specifications for Concrete fl oors: Floors will be cleaned using a degreaser and then prepared for epoxy laminate coating. The coating will be applied o ver the entire surface and additional coverage will be applied as necessary to provide a durable high gloss coated surface. All work required to be performed by the contractor. The Government will lift the chargers out of the area. Damaged concr ete will be repaired with a patching compound and painted gray. The estimated square footage within each of the warehouses is as follows: Warehouse CEP-156 -- 2,145 square feet, Warehouse V-52 ? 177 square feet, Warehouse X-132 2nd floor ? 128 squ are feet, Warehouse X-136 ? 240 square feet, Warehouse X-218 ? 136 square feet, Warehouse W-135 ? 242 square feet, Warehouse W-143 2nd floor -- 2,240 square feet, Warehouse W-143 4th floor -- 1,395 square feet, Warehouse W-148 -- 2,413 square feet, Wa rehouse SP-236 -- 1,260 square feet, Warehouse V-147 -- 3,900 square feet, Warehouse X-132 3rd floor ? 45 square feet, Warehouse X-134 ? 550 square feet, Warehous e X-380 ? 495 square feet, Warehouse W-143 1st floor -- 1,044 square feet, Warehouse W-143 3rd floor ? 918 square feet and Wa rehouse W-143 5th floor ? 500 square feet. The total estimated square footage is 17,828.
