Description

In accordance with FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation, the National Park Service intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the removal and/or encapsulation of lead-based paint or paint containing lead; reglazing, priming and repainting approximately 28 windows and window frames, stet 14 door casings; scraping and sanding 6,250 square feet of wood ceiling, 203 exposed rafters, wood casings around supporting beams, fascia boards, molding, soffit, and miscellaneous woodwork located at Fort Pulaski National Monument near Tybee Island and Savannah, Georgia. This is a small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 23521; the size standard is $11.5. Estimated price range: between $100,000 and $250,000. Tentative issue date: July 16, 2001.. Request for RFP shall be in writing, stating RFP No. N5420010380, complete company name, point of contact, address, area code and telephone number/fax number. A firm fixed price contract will be issued, with a performance period of 120 calendar days from the date of notice to proceed. Anticipated award date is August 24, 2001.
