- Description
- The Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, Tuscaloosa, Alabama intends to purchase a Mitsubishi SDP-Eco1630ll Digital Platesetting System. The following is a list of features that are required. (1) Recording, Capstan; (2) Harlequin NT RIP and Platform Version 5.1; (3) Light Source, Red Laser Diode (635nm); (4) Resolutions of 1200, 1500, 1800 dpi; (5) Recording Speed, 48" per minute at 1200 dpi, 31" per minute at 1500 dpi, 21" per minute at 1800 dpi; (6) Maximum Recording Width of 15.9"; (7) Output Media, Mitsubishi Silver DigiPlate Materials, Spec 725, Paper: SDP-RR175,0.008", Polyester: SDP-FR100,0.004", SDP-FR175,0.008" (8) Plate Widths of 9", 10", 11", 12". 12 3/16", 12 3/4", 13 3/16", 13 3/8", 14 9/16", 15 3/4", 15.9", and 16 5/16"; (9) Plate Length, 8.65", to 22.83"; (10) Roll Specification, Spec 725 (11) Interface, Fast Wide SCSI (16 bit); (12) Integrated Processor, Coating Type Development-"Eco" Processor, Chemistry, Mitsubishi SLM-EAC (Activator), SLM-EST (Stablizer); (12) Tank Capacity, MAIN TANK, Activator .145 gallon, Stablizer .159 gallon, Wash-off Water .066 gallon, REPLENISHING BOTTLE, Activator .528 gallons, Stablizer .528 gallon, Wash-off Water .264 gallon; (13) Output Speed, First Plate: 114 seconds, 78 plates/hr (404 x 450mm at 1200 dpi) (14) Physical Dimensions W x D x H: 39 3/8" x 31 5/16" x 42 3/16", with a weight of 456 pounds; (15) Power Requirements, 100/120 VAC, 10 Amp, 50/60 Hz; (16) Unit must be installed and serviced by a factory trained and certified technician; (17) Response time for warranty repairs shall be within 8 working hours of the initial call, during the hours of 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday; (18) Contractor shall provide operator instruction at the VA Medical Center to pertinent VA staff, also contractor shall provide VA Maintenance Personal with basic training to trouble shoot problems to reduce down time. The NASCI code for this procurement is 333293. The use of any part number in this announcement are to be used as a guide for any other offeror purporting to be able to furnish this system or a system equal to the above description. Offer shall submit a written response along with cut sheets and a description on all equipment that is being portrayed as equal to the listed equipment for review by the using service by July 12, 2001.
