Description

This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). NASA Glenn Research Center intends to purchase the following items from Sorensen, Division of Elgar. THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE. Description:(1.) Four each -- Sorensen programmable 3KW DC power supply, model number DLM32-95E. (2.) Four each -- IEE-488 interface for item 1 DLM32-95E, model number M9E. (3.) Sorensen DC power supply 1KW, programmable, LHP 33-33, option M9E. (4.) IEEE 488 interface for item 3 DC programmable power supply 1KW LHP 33-33, model number M9B 33-33. (5.) Rack mount kit for item 3 DC programmable power supply LHP 33-33, model number RM2. (6.) Elgar continuous wave series power supply 2500VA, model number CW 2501P. (7.) Elgar continuous wave series power supply 1250VA, model number CW 1251P. (8.) Rack slides for item 6 & 7, model number K161570-01. (9.) Expansion cable, model number 890-499-00. Voltage,Current and Overvoltage preview push buttons allow you to preview the programmed settings at anytime, overvoltage limit is adjusted with a set screw accessible through the front panel. Display and Indicators: Voltage and Overvoltage settings 3-1/2 digit LED display, Current settings 3-1/2 digit LED display. LED indicators for Power On, Shutdown, Remote, Overvoltage Protection, Overtemperature and Front Panel Lockout, Constant Voltage and Constant Current modes. GPIB indicators include Error, SRQ and Address. The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 97-25. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 334515 and 500, respectively. The quoter shall state in their quotation their size status for this procurement. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9. If the end products quoted are other than domestic end products as defined in the clause entitled "Buy American Act -- Supplies," the quoter shall so state and shall list the country of origin.
