Description

This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The invitation for bid document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-26. This is a 100% set-aside for small business procurement. The Standard Industrial Code is "421830". The small business size is 100 employees. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Austin Automation Center (AAC), Austin, Texas (AAC) intends to procure the following Tektronix equipment and services: 1) U3661, Spectrum Analyzer, 1/each, 2) U3661 R3, three year extended warranty for U3661, 1/each, 3) U3661 C3, three year calibration services for U3661, 1/each, 4) R16216A, Carrying Case for U3661 Spectrum Analyzer, 1/each, 5)TG700, Multi-format analog and digital signal generator-mainframe, 1/each, 6) AGL7, Analog Genlock Module for TG700, 1/each, 7) DVG7, Digital Video Generator for TG700, 1/each, 8) ATG7, Analog Signal Generator for TG700, 1/each, 9) 1750A, Analog NTSC Video Waveform/Vector Monitor, 2/each, 10) 1700F02, Portable Cabinet for 1750A Monitor, 2/each, 11) 1700F05, Dual Rack Mount for 1750A Monitor, 1/each, 12) WFM601M, Waveform/Vector Monitor, serial 270mb/601 component, 2/each, 13) 1705A, Spectrum Monitor, 1/each, 14) 1700F00, Plain Cabinet for 1750A, 1/each. Pricing shall be FOB Destination to the government site. Delivery shall be no later than Four (4) weeks after a delivery order is placed. Delivery Address is: EES-VAMC, #1 Jefferson Barracks Drive, Building 48, St. Louis, MO 63125. Responses shall be in writing and can be e-mailed to the attention of the contracting officer or faxed to 512/326-6028. Bids are due on July 13, 2001 at 4PM Central time. The following FAR clauses apply to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial with the addendum FAR 52.216-1 Type of Contract- "The Government contemplates award of a firm fixed price single award contract from this solicitation"; FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial; FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items with addendum FAR 52-219-6 Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside; and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Order-Commercial Items. All offerors will be required to provide a completed copy of the provision FAR 52-212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items and with addendum, VAAR 852.219-70 Veteran Owned Small Business. The Standard Commercial Warranty is required.
