Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) has a specific make and model FreeVision requirement under FAR 6.302-1 from CCC Network Systems, Hicksville, NY. The requirement includes a Keyboard, Video, Mouse (KVM) Multi-User Switching System for the Distributed Engineering Plant and the C2 Laboratory located at NSWCDD. Any alternatives must meet the following: one user to one machine connectivity, user ability to view other connected systems with no blocking limitations, ability to control systems connected to multiple networks, ability to handle SGI, SUN, HP monitor resolutions and keyboard, mouse inputs, ability to transmit keyboard, video, mouse signals up to 500 feet from the CPU, ability to transmit audio and serial from the CPU up to 500 feet, ability to view and control systems over Ethernet that are located at remote locations connected via a WAN link, ability to hide/ suppress IP addresses on WAN for security reasons and use a software switching design (vice hardware) for flexibility of use and system growth . Delivery is required F.O.B. Destination, within 12 weeks of contract award to NSWCDD. The required item models and quantities are: FVCC128X64 128 Server by 64 User Chassis (1 EA), FVIPRM FreeVisionIP Server (3 EA), FVSMPSU Power Supply Unit (2 EA), FVCABP Blanking Plate (7 EA), FVCADCC Control Card (2 EA), FVCAMC Scalable Matrix Card (2 EA), FVCASIC Server Interface Card (6 EA), FVOSDUIC OSD User Interface Card (4 EA), FVMAT/3FT Cabling Interconnect Cables (5 EA), FVVAR Various Cabling (1 EA), FD04CC FreeVision Extender Quad Transmit Chassis (1 EA), FD240TX FreeVision Extender Mini Transmit Unit 40cm Cable (97 EA), FD3THRX FreeVision Extender Audio Thru Receive Unit (50 EA), FDSUTX FreeVision Extender Sun Transmit Card (4 EA), FVSS Switch Server Software (101 EA), onsite complete system installation (1 Lot), onsite user/system administration switch training (1 Day), and complete commercial documentation set (1 Lot). The Government will not issue a written solicitation as all items are specified in this CBD Notice. Interested parties other than CCC Network Systems must be able to demonstrate in writing their capability to provide the requested equipment. All responsible sources may submit a proposal referencing N00178-01-R-3066 to NSWCDD, Bldg 183, Room 106, Code SD13-10, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100 which shall be considered by the Agency.
