Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to award, on a sole-source basis, under the authority of 13.106-1(b), to MetroSage, LLC, 26896 Shake Ridge Road, Volcano, CA 95689 for PUNDIT Software Upgrade. The aforementioned Software is currently installed at NIST. As proprietor of the software, Metrosage, LLC is the only known source that can provide the required upgrade, support, and maintenance for the PUNDIT software. All responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to satisfy this requirement and must provide written documentation stating that they are authorized by Metrosage, LLC to provide the needed software upgrade, support, and maintenance for the PUNDIT software. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the Government will consider all quotes or other information received by July 09, 2001. Information received will normally be considered solely to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. The Government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed-price purchase order as a result of this requirement.
