Description

Cattleguard Removal and Replacement -- Sioux RD on the Custer NF. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, transportation, materials, equipment and incidentals to perform this contract. There will be a Base Bid for 8 cattleguards and an Optional Item for 3 additional cattleguards. Work consists of removing and replacing up to 11 cattleguards on the Sioux RD which is located at Camp Crook, South Dakota. Four cattleguards are located in the Ekalaka Hills, two cattleguards are in the East Short Pines and four cattleguards are located in the North Cave Hills. The new cattleguards shall include aggregate approaches, end wings, concrete bases, object markers, bypass gates, and related appurtenances. It is estimated that this project will begin mid-August and will have 60 calendar days for completion of all work. This project is set aside for Small Business Concerns.
