Description

The U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (UASAMDC) plans to enter into sole source negotiations with Xontech, Incorporated, 6862 Hayvenhurst Avenue, Van Nuys, California 92106, for this follow-on effort to perform a wide variety of tasks dealing with radar discrimination analysis and design. The contractor shall continue to support Project Hercules and Major Defense Acquisition Programs. The contractor will be required to develop, refine, automate, and integrate radar discrimination algorithms in areas established over the last decade, including precision motion, scintillation, data fusion, bandwidth expansion, non-stabilized RV, kill assessment, etc. The contractor shall perform extensive algorithm testing on existing discrimination testbeds, as well as development of new test tools and integration of these tools into the testbed. It has been determined that award to any other source would result in substantial duplication of costs to the government that is not expected to be recovered through competition. Authority 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii) (only one responsible source). This effort is not open to allied firms at either the prime or subcontract level.
