Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution-Tucson has a requirement for qualified instructors to provide training in Environmental Techonology and Business Administration. This training shall consist of training in the following areas: asbestos abatement, health and safety, pesticide application, sanitary landfill operation, hazardous waste, and other environmental areas. The objective is to provide the individual inmate with the knowledge, skills, and course work necessary to successfully complete a Basic Certificate for Direct Employment, an Advanced Certificate for Direct Employment and/or an Associate of Applied Science Degree for Direct Employment in one or more areas of Environmental Technology. This training will be provided to the inmate population at the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, 8901 S. Wilmot, Tucson, AZ 85706. The anticipated period of contract performance will be; Base Year; Date of Award through 12 months from award date; Option Period #2; 13 months from date of award through 36 months from award date; Option Period #3; 37 months from date of award through 48 months from award date; Option Period #4; 49 months from date of award thorugh 60 months from award date. Proposal packages will approximately be available 07/20/01, with an approximate opening date of 08/21/01. All offers received in response to this notice, will be subject to the evaluation criteria as established in the proposal. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by this agency. No collect calls will be accepted. No telephone requests for proposals will be accepted.
