Description

The US Army Research Laboratory, Weapons and Materials Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005, plans to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the purchase of Professional Copy Film, 11 inch by 14 inch, 25 sheets per box, Catalog #171-4302, NSN 6750-00-177-5361, 200 boxes. This is a factory special order, is non-returnable, and requires a purchase variation of plus or minus ten percent. ARL intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302 with Eastman Kodak, Rochester, NY. The government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested firms have 15 days from the publication of this synopsis to submit in writing via FAX 410-278-6522 to the identified point of contact, their qualifications and capabilities. Such qualifications/capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses received after the 15 days or without the required information will be considered non-responsive to this synopsis and will not be considered. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed effort on a full and open competitive basis, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
