Description

Install of Fiber Optic Cable to support a Flight Line Video System, Various locations, Pope AFB, NC. Work consists of providing all labor, supplies, materials, supervision, transportation, equipment, and all else necessary to complete this job. The contractor will be required to install (all footages are approximates): 3,200 feet total of outside plant fiber optic cable, 1,650 feet total of 1? Innerduct, 450 feet total of 2? Galvanized Steel Conduit, 1 Fiber Optic Cable Splice Case, 4 Environmental Fiber Distribution Centers, 1 Wall-Mountable Fiber Distribution Center, 6 Siecor Connector Panels for Existing Fiber Distribution Centers and miscellaneous adapters, couplers, clamps, supports, etc where needed. The Period of Performance shall not exceed 30 calendar days. There is an optional site visit scheduled on 17 July 2001 at the Visitor?s Center (Bldg 110), Pope AFB NC 28308-2207. The site visit will begin at 1300hrs (1PM EST). The expected due date for proposals is 27 July 2001. If you wish to attend, you must notify the assigned contracting specialist. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 12 July 2001 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.eps.gov. Paper copies will not be available. It will be the responsibility of all interested parties to monitor the web page for any amendments.
