Description

The Tucson Area Indian Health Service (IHS) has a requirement for a qualified contractor to conduct comprehensive audits of approximately 2668 medical charts for the Sells Service Unit at the following facilities: 1) PHS Sells Indian Hospital, Sells, AZ and 2) San Xavier Health Center, Tucson, AZ. As part the audit related services the contractor shall be required to setup the Diabetes Service Unit Wide Registry for the Tucson Area, produce a finalized Diabetes Audits Report and Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) reports in compliance with the IHS Standards of Diabetes Care, National Diabetes Program, Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) and ORYX requirements. In addition, the contractor shall develop and conduct a two (2) day per location, Diabetes Case Management Software Training to the Sells Service Unit facilities 1) and 2) cited above. This requirement is a non-personal services contract. Contractor qualifications will be stated in the RFQ. The anticipated period of performance requires completion in less than three months. The contractor shall, upon receipt of a purchase order, have the capacity to promptly commence the work specified therein. A single fixed-price competitive award is anticipated from Request for Quotation (RFQ) 01-13. The RFQ will be released on or about 07/16/01. No telephone requests for information will be accepted. Only a written or faxed request received directly from the requestor will be acceptable.
