- Description
- The Navy requires engineering services for the design of a HEMP-protected power system vans using microturbine technology to meet the NMD MILSATCOM requirements. The design effort must provide the documentation required to implement two versions of power system vans. The design of these power systems should permit the power vans to be easily adapted for use as either a prime or standby/backup power source. The government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Femme Comp Inc. (FCI) of Sterling, Virginia, a small woman-owned business with the requisite clearances. Delivery schedule is by 30 September 2001.
