Description

The Federal Correctional Institution, Oxford, Wisconsin is soliciting to establish a non-personal service agreement to provide the services of a Radiologist to provide specialty medical services in the area of radiological medicine to inmates incarcerated at the F.C.I./F.P.C. Oxford. The board certified/eligible radiologist will serve as Director of Radiology Services and shall provide evaluations and interpretations of roentgenograms, and special diagnostic roentgenographic procedures to include arthrograms, barium enemas, G.I. Series, venograms, cholecystograms, and ultrasounds approximately 72 each. The Contractor will provide specialized radiological tests and procedures on patients on refrral from the institution medical staff. The Contractor shall furnish copies of all state licenses, board certifications, continuing education received during the contract period, proof of professional liability insurance, and a copy of diploma(s) for credentialing pursuant to JCAHO standards and Bureau of Prisons policies. The Contractor shall provide Radiological services as one, two hour session per week, as needed, for an estimated total amount of 48 sessions. For the provision of "in-house" diagnostic testing (arthrograms etc.) the estimated total amount will be 96 each, for the expected contract period of October 1, 2001 through September 30, 2002. A firm-fixed option year contract is contemplated, cost will be based on the total price for the basic requirement together with any option(s) exercised at the time of award. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by this office. The estimated range of this agreement is $25,000 to $100,000.
