Description

This acquisition is being offered for full and open competition subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 234110. Small Disadvantaged Businesses, Woman-Owned Small Businesses, Disabled Veteran Small Businesses, and HUBZone certified Businesses are encouraged to participate. This project is located within the National Historic District at F. E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming. The Wyoming State Historic Preservation Office and the Federal Advisory Council on Historic Preservation have approved the project drawings and specifications. The Base Historic Preservation Officer must approve any deviations. This project involves furnishing and installing of all specified materials and equipment for reconstruction of 10th Cavalry Road from Building 314 to Old Glory Road. Items included, but in no way limited to, are storm sewer and inlet installation, curb, gutter, sidewalk, asphalt and concrete pavement, landscaping and sprinkler system installation. The performance period for the resultant construction contract awarded as a result of this solicitation is one hundred and fifty (150) calendar days. There is a winter exclusion period for this project starting 1 October and continuing through 30 April. Magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Issue date for this solicitation is anticipated to be on or about July 20, 2001, with a closing date 30 calendar days after issuance. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal -- Performance Price Trade-Off (PPT). Under PPT, past performance will be evaluated. This solicitation will be available only via the Internet at the following address: www.eps.gov.
