Description

Pre-Solicitation -- IFB N68711-01 -B-0514, REPAIR NON-POT SUPPLY WELL, OCOTILLO (R27-00) at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, CA. The work includes furnishing all materials, labor, supervision, equipment and incidental related work for the construction of a non-potable water well, installation of mechanical and electrical equipment, site fencing, and miscellaneous site work. A Quality Control Program will be required as set forth in the Contract Specifications. NOTE: All Federal Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, new contract awards can only be made to contractors who are registered in the CCR. CCR Web sites: ccr.edi.disa.mil, or acq.osd.mil/ec; request form at 1-800-334-3414. Specifications & Drawings available on the Internet Site on or about 02 August 2001. Site Visit 10:00 AM, local time, 20 August 2001. Only one site visit will be offered. Bid Opening 2:00 PM, local time, 04 September 2001. Duration of contract 150 calendar days. Estimated Cost Range between $250,000 and $500,000. This is a Firm Fixed Price contract. This procurement is being issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. NAICS Code 235810/SIC Code 1781. The related Small Business Size Standard is $11.5 Million. The Government intends to issue this solicitation through the use of the Internet. Plans and Specifications will NOT be directly provided in a paper hard copy format. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (amendments) shall be made only on the Internet. It is therefore the Contractor's responsibility to check the below listed address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation's plans and specifications. Download from the Internet is free of charge; however, some plans and specifications will take a considerable amount of time to download. Telephone or FAX requests will not be accepted.
