Description

Logging Creek and Spring Creek Campgrounds Accessability Project on the Lewis and Clark NF. This project will consist of reconstructing a couple of camp units at each campground to increase the accessability of the campgrounds. The reconstruction will consist of removing the old camp furnishings, placing gravel to widen or lengthen parking spurs, leveling and graveling the camp areas, and placing new concrete picnic tables, fire rings and grills. The gravel source is Forest Service stockpiled. The successful offeror will provide all labor, transportation, equipment, materials, supervision and incidentals to perform the work. The project is located as follows: Logging Creek Campground is located 24 miles south of Belt, MT off Hwy 89 between White Sulphur Springs and Belt, then west on Forest Road 839. Spring Creek Campground is located 26 miles east of White Sulphur Springs on Hwy 12 then north 4 miles on Forest Road 274. The price range is $25,00 -- $100,000. The estimated starting date is September 1, 2001 with 365 calendar days for completion. This project is not set aside for small business concerns. The package is estimated to be issued on July 19, 2001.
