Description

This project consists of reconditioning approximately 6.12 km of existing roads, drilling and blasting in an existing rock pit for aggregate production, and crushing, placing, shaping, and compacting approximately 10,703 metric tons of crushed aggregate. The project is located on FDR 8508 at the junction of Game Creek Road and FDR 8502 approximately 22.9 km southeast of Hoonah, Alaska. The estimated price for the project is $100,000 to $250,000. The contract time is 30 calendar days. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered. The solicitation will be posted to the Tongass National Forest Internet Homepage on or about August 7, 2001 for viewing and printing. Follow the link to Current Contract Information.
