Description

National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA) Project STL 00-0252, Repair Restrooms in building 36, section 4A at our facility located at 3200 South Second Street, St. Louis, MO. Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, equipment and performing all work in strict accordance with those specifications, schedules and drawings forming parts thereof, for the repair of 4A restrooms. Architectural work includes replacement of wall tile, floor tile, and ceiling tiles. Stall partitions shall be replaced. Bathroom accessories shall be installed. Walls and doors shall be painted. Mechanical work shall include the replacement of water closets, urinals, sink fixtures, and exhaust air grills. Piping modifications shall be required. Electrical work shall include the replacement of switches and receptacles and other minor electrical tasks. The work shall be performed by a general contractor who has several years experience in renovation of general office areas. All work is to be accomplished in strict accordance with applicable NIMA, EPA, NFPA, and OSHA requirements. The performance period for this project is 60 days. Liquidated damages will apply to this project. The approximate cost range of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. This is a 100% set-aside for small business. The NAIC code for this project is 233320, $27.5 million. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible for an award. The solicitation document will be available from NIMA at no charge. All interested parties must submit a written request to NIMA, PCS, MS L-13, Attention: P. Zavadil, 3200 South Second Street, St. Louis, MO 63118-3399, a facsimile request to 314-263-8024, or e-mail requests request to zavadilp@nima.mil. This solicitation will not be available through electronic data interchange. The solicitation will include all plans and specifications required for bidding. A site visit will be scheduled and the date/time will be included in the solicitation. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about 23 July 2001 and will close on or about 10 August 2001. All responsible contractors with the required experience may submit a Request for Quotation (RFQ), which shall be considered by the Agency. All quotes must be submitted writing. See Note 1.
