Description
Addition to Joint Security Forces Facility Building 219. This work is to be performed for the Pennsylvania Air National Guard Base, 111th Fighter Wing, located at the Willow Grove Air Reserve Station, Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. The work shall consist of but not limited to the contractor providing all tools, plant, materials, equipment, labor, transportation and supervision to provide a fully functional building addition to the existing Security Forces Facility Building 219 as indicated on the drawings and specifications. The scope for the new approx. 6200 square foot facility uses the design elements of the existing facility. Spaces will include administration, classroom, and an Armory and support areas. Some "tie-ins" to the existing building will be required while the facility remains secure and operational. Included but not all inclusive are concrete footings, structural steel framing, masonry walls, interior framing and drywall, carpeting and VCT flooring, and ceiling systems. The estimated construction range is between 1 million and 5 million with the performance period established at 300 calendar days. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1542 and NAIC 23332. The applicable small business size standard is 17 million average annual revenue for three previous years. The project is unrestricted. The estimated IFB availability will be no sooner than fifteen calendar days after publication of this notice. The projected bid opening date will be shown on the IFB and will be no sooner then thirty (30) calendar days after IFB issuance. Invitations for Bid will be issued on a first come first served basis to PRIME CONTRACTORS ONLY, limited to one (1) package per prime contractor. A small, small disadvantaged, and women owned business Subcontracting Plan must be submitted by large businesses as part of the complete bid package. Small businesses are not required to submit a plan. Large businesses failing to submit this mandatory plan will be considered as nonresponsive. Telephone inquires will NOT be accepted. Inquiries, either from subcontractors or suppliers will not be accepted. Only written inquiries for planholder's list will be honored.
