Description

The INL Bureau is requesting offers for the purchase of vehicles to be exported to Central America -- at least 12 compact pickup trucks and 2 sport utility vehicles. RESPONSES ARE REQUIRED BY 4:30 P.M. 7/18/01. This procurement is a small business set aside and a solicitation. No additional information will be sent out. (1)The pickup required is as follows:compact double cabin truck, 4 wheel drive, standard transmission, 6 cylinder gasoline engine, 4 doors, seating for at least 5 passengers, power steering, power brakes. Do not want air conditioning nor luxury features such as leather seats or cruise controls on the trucks. Color preference is dark colors -- no red or bright colors. (2)Sport utility vehicles with 4 wheel drive, standard transmission, 6 cylinder gasoline engine, 4 doors, seating for at least 5 passengers, power steering, power brakes and air conditioning. No luxury features are desired. Color preference is dark colors -- no red or bright colors are acceptable. Vehicles must be new vehicles. No American pollution control devices are required. Please leave off these devices if possible, or request the dealer(s) to remove them prior to export. The Government will make an award based upon Best Value to the Government, to the responsible Offeror(s) whose offer conforms to the solicitation contained herein and is most advantageous to the Government. For those offers meeting all technical specifications listed herein, delivery time ARO will then be of primary importance. Price is a factor for consideration, but the Government may award to other than the lowest priced Offeror. Total price quoted must be FOB price to Miami, FL.
