Description

The US Environmental Protection Agency, National Vehicle and Fuels Emissions Laboratory (NVFEL) in Ann Arbor, Michigan has a requirement for an Airsense Chemical Ionization Mass Spectrometer Emission System with Internal High Speed Sample Switching. The spectrometer should be for continuous engine exhaust gas analysis of part per million and part per billion concentrations of SO2, H2S, NH3, benzene, and low molecular weight aldehydes.Offerors proposals shall address the technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government's requirement. The Government's evaluation of proposals will be done on a best value basis considering the offeror's technical proposal and price. It is anticipated that any resultant solicitation will result in award of a firm fixed price contract. The solicitation will be processed under full and open competition procedures. The solicitation will be prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12, "Commercial Items." All responsible offerors may submit a proposal which will be considered by the Agency. Copies of the solicitation will be available on the Internet at http://www.epa.gov/oam/cinn_cmd. The solicitation will be issued on or around Jul 24, 2001.
