Description

Work to be performed under a Firm Fixed-Price/Indefinite Quantity contract. Services are required for a base period of one year, 1 Oct 2001 through 30 Sep 2002 with four (4) one year options. The option periods will be exercised without further notice if they are in the best interest of the Government. This solicitation IS RESTRICTED FOR SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, management and Quality Control necessary for the maintenance, and repair of the facilities and related systems and equipment; and for the provision of other miscellaneous services in accordance with the Contract Requirements. The work includes the performance of service call work, recurring work, Indefinite Quantity work, and will specifically include the functions: Custodial Services, Pest Control Services, Grounds Maintenance Services, Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services, Road Maintenance and Repair and Gas Free Engineering Services. A site visist and pre-proposal conference will be held on 8 August 2001. The Government will issue the solicitation through the use of the Internet only. The official plan holder's list will be maintained and can be printed from the website. Amendments will be posted on the website for downloading. This will be the only method of distributing amendments; therefore, IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEBSITE PERIODICALLY FOR ANY AMENDMENTS TO THE SOLICITATION.
