Description

This project is an Invitation for Bid to rehabilitate portions of the Aspen Glade Campground, Conejos Peak Ranger District, Rio Grande National Forest, Conejos County, Colorado. The proposed project includes upgrading the entire campground water system (new well, pumphouse, holding tank, distribution line and new hydrants); reconstructing the entrance road and the middle and lower loop roads and rock wall barrier work; removal of two existing toilets in the lower loop and reconstruction of 22 spurs including tent and use pads. The proposed project is located at the Aspen Glade Campgrounds. From the town of Antonito, Colorado, take State Highway 17 west for aproximately 18 miles to the Aspen Glade Campground. The entrance road to the campground is located on the south side of State Highway 17. The performance period for the proposed contract is 150 calendar days. The magnitude of the proposed contract is between $250,000 and $500,000. This will be a firm, fixed-price contract. The proposed contract is available under full and open competition.
