Description

The Colville National Forest requires blasting, crushing and stock piling of approximately 53,565 tons of stockpile aggregate (type crushed, surfacing, grading B) from three designated Forest Service rock pits. The pits are: the Tacoma Creek pit located north of Newport, Washington; Swan Butte Pit located south of Republic, Washington, and Ninemile pit located east of Republic, Washington. Unless otherwise provided, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, tools and transportation necessary to perform the work in accordance with the specification and previsions of the contract. This project will be advertised as a written quotation and will be solicited under the Simplified Acquisition Procurement (SAP) rules and will be solicited on an unrestricted (no set-aside) basis. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about July 30, 2001. Estimated start work date is on or about August 21, 2001, with a completion date of 60 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Quotes are estimated to be due August 20, 2001. An Alternate Payment Protection (payment bond) will be required upon award. NAICS code is 234990. The estimated price range is $25,000 to $100,000.
