Description

Request for Quote Package will be available 07/24/2001. Upper Buffalo Creek, Site 4, Fishing Pier -- This project is located near Curtisville, Marion County, West Virginia. The work consists of constructing a timber fishing pier. The fishing pier will be made accessible to physically challenged users by construction of a bituminous paved parking lot and walkway. The major items of work are: Pollution Control, 1 LS; Seeding & Mulching, 1 LS; Mobilization, 1 LS; Concrete, 1 LS; Fishing Pier, 1 LS; Crushed Aggregate (Base Course) 29 Tons; Bituminous Pavement (Base Course) 142 SY; Bituminous Pavement, 142 SY. A pre-bid/site showing is scheduled for August 1, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. Plan to meet on site at the boat ramp. To reach the site, follow U.S. Route 250 into Mannington, West Virginia, then onto County Route 1 west and follow approximately 4 miles from Mannington City limits to County Route 7, go appromimately 2 miles on Route 7 to site, meet at the boat ramp at dam.
